Practical Social Marketing - How to Leverage Facebook, YouTube and Twitter for More Article Traffic

Social Media Marketing is a great way to get more traffic to your articles when you leverage the Social Marketing platforms correctly. The interesting thing is many online marketers have never even thought of these tips that you are about to discover.

At the time of this writing, Facebook, YouTube and Twitter are the Big 3 in terms of the amount of traffic each received.

Alexa.com ranks Facebook as #2, YouTube as #3, and Twitter as #9, so all three are in the top ten most trafficked sites on the Internet.

Why wouldn't you use these top ranked sites to get more traffic to your articles?

Quick Tips for the Big 3
So here are a few quick tips to leverage Facebook, YouTube and Twitter for more traffic to your articles.
Facebook - I'm still surprised when I hear students say "I never thought of doing that with Facebook!" If that's you, then it's time to start thinking about it, and then doing it!

When you have a new article come out, announce it on Facebook. A simple update that says "Brand New Article - Then give your article title and the link to the article. What's really cool is when you include the link in your Fan Page update, a little "preview box" drops down where you can say more and include a graphic. This is nice "eye candy" that will attract more visitors to click through to your article.

YouTube - YouTube is more than just a site to upload your videos and try to drive traffic to your web pages. You can also use it to drive traffic to your articles.

Many of my Video Articles are short 1 - 3 minute videos discussing just one point from one of my articles. Then I include the link to the rest of the article, both in the annotations in the video, and in the description of the video.

Twitter - One of the many cool things about Twitter is you can post tweets about the same article more than once a day.

The first one can be automatic, when you set up your EzineArticles account to send an automatic "New Article Alert" to Twitter each time you have a new article published.

Then you follow that automated tweet with tweets of your own announcing the new article. One way to do this is to ask "Have You Seen This Yet?" then include the article title and a link to your article. Always include the link to your article.

And now imagine who much traffic you would get to your next articles when you use one of these strategies. I wonder how much traffic you would get if you used all three with your next articles?

And you know what? You can learn more strategies just like these each month when you join the growing community of smart online marketers you get the Social Marketing Money Insider's Update each and every month.

You can get 2 Free Months now at http://SMMIU.com - after the first 2 Free Months it's completely up to you if you continue on (we do hope you will) no strings, no tricks.
